Tips to help stop worrying

It’s been a bit of time since Not Just Purses has published a wellness article and what better day than today to do so.  My best to everyone. -njppa

Over the years I have come to realize that the first step to address worry is recognize it as a piece of our imagination. So often we find ourselves consumed with things that are out of our control, all the what ifs that circle us like a pack of hungry wolves. Just putting it out of your mind is not always the easiest thing to do.

Everyone can benefit by adopting some stress relief techniques in their daily life. Here are a few that may help you get started:

  • Take deep breaths and count to 10. It really works!White Wedding Bath Bomb
  • Soak in a tub. This is especially good for when you’re feeling too hot or chilled.
  • Play some soothing music. It’s amazing what effects this can have.
  • Get cozy and take a nap. Sometimes it’s the best way to let the mind and body rest.
  • Meditate on positive thoughts. As soon as negativity enters the mind, tell it it’s not welcome and replace it with the positive. Rinse and Repeat frequently.
